First download this App from here,  and follow the steps below :

1. Turn on the phone’s WiFi connection and connect to Router’s default network name (SSID). the default network name starts with “ASUS_XX”.

  • The SSID shown on the producton the back side of the router. for example ASUS for 2.4Ghz SSID and ASUS_5G for 5Ghz SSID.

2. Tap on the ASUS Router app and Open the Asus Router app on your phone.

3. Tap Setup“, to begin the configuration process.

4. Tap ASUS Router.

5. Choose “Allow”, to grant the app necessary permissions to proceed with the setup and start the setup.

6. Tap “Start“, to begin the configuration process.

7. Choose Internet Connection Type: Select the internet connection type based on your internet service provider (ISP). Here’s a breakdown of common options:

  1. Connection type – Automatic IP: If your ISP provides an automatic IP address, simply tap Next
  2. Connection type – PPPoE:If your ISP requires PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet) authentication, enter the username and password provided by your ISP and tap “Next”

8. Type your desired network name(SSID) and password and tap Next.

  • Network Name (SSID): Create a unique and memorable name for your Wi-Fi network (SSID) for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands (if applicable).

9. Type login name and password and tap Next.

    • Password: Set strong and complex passwords for both bands. Ideally, use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using easily guessable words or personal information.
    • Note : Login name and password are needed when accessing to router configuration web page.

10. After you complete the setup, Remote Connection pop-up appears. Choose  “Cancel” .

11. Now , everything is OK, you can use you WiFi router based on your settings.
