In close proximity to the router (15 feet), I consistently achieved speeds of over 105Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and over 610Mbps on the 5 GHz band. This is impressive performance for such an affordable router. The RSSI values for both bands were around -43, indicating a strong signal. I was able to stream 4K video, download large files, and play online games without any lag.
KitchenMoving further to the kitchen, approximately 30 feet away from the router, I was still able to maintain speeds of over 80Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and over 430Mbps on the 5 GHz band. The RSSI values for both bands remained strong, hovering around -51 for 2.4GHz band and -55 for 5GHz band. I was able to continue streaming 4K video and downloading large files without any significant slowdown.
BedroomNext, I moved the iPhone to my bedroom, which is approximately 50 feet away from the Reyee RG E5. In this location, I saw a further decrease in speeds, but I was still able to get speeds of over 50Mbps on 2.4GHz band and 260Mbps on 5GHz band. The RSSI values was around -56 for 2.4GHz and -65 for 5GHz, both indicating a good signal and I was able to continue streaming HD video and browsing the web without any major issues.
UpstairsThen, I tested the router’s coverage upstairs, which is approximately 75 feet away from the router. In this location, I was surprised to find that I could still get speeds of around 35Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and around 220Mbps on the 5 GHz band. The RSSI value was around -60 for 2.4GHz band and -64 for 5GHz band, indicating a medium signal. I was able to stream SD video and browse the web without any major issues.
YardI then finally tested the router’s coverage outside in my yard, which is approximately 100 feet away from the Reyee AX3200. I experienced a more significant drop in speeds, but I was still able to get speeds of around 20Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and around 65Mbps on the 5 GHz band. The RSSI value was around -61 for 2.4GHz band and -67 for 5GHz band, indicating a weak signal. I was able to stream SD video and browse the web without any major issues.
