While advertised speeds are impressive, real-world Wi-Fi performance can vary significantly. To give you a clearer picture of what to expect from the TP Link AXE16000, we conducted a series of tests in a typical suburban home environment with Samsung Galaxy S22+, which offers maximum speeds of 110 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band, 710 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, and 1150 Mbps on the 6 GHz band. 2.4 GHz Band Test Results
While the 2.4 GHz band offers decent performance at close range, its signal strength and speeds may weaken significantly beyond 30 feet (9 meters). For optimal performance, especially for devices further away, prioritize connecting to the 5 GHz or 6 GHz bands whenever possible.
